August is a great time to visit Edinburgh when the streets come alive as the city welcomes an explosion of creativity energy with the famous Fringe Festival and Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Artists and performers take to stages all over the city to present shows for every taste whilst Edinburgh Castle Esplanade hosts the spectacular world-famous Royal Military Tattoo.

Itinerary 

We depart in the early hours of the morning and travel North to Edinburgh. On arrival, we drop you in the city centre and the day is then yours to explore one of the many sites and historic monuments of the city while the Fringe Festival is in full swing. Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival is the largest arts festival in the world, with thousands of performers taking to hundreds of stages all over Edinburgh to present shows for every taste. From big names in the world to unknown artists looking to build their careers, the festival caters for everyone and includes theatre, comedy, dance, circus, cabaret and much more (some events require tickets – not included). We meet again in the wee hours of the morning and travel back to our pick-up points where we arrive Sunday morning.

Please note admissions to museums and monuments are not included

I understand that it is my responsibility to be at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. The ITT Office is not responsible for persons missing coach departures at any point during the tour, for any reason whatsoever. There are NO REFUNDS for failing to be on time for the coach departure or for not being at the correct meeting point at the correct time. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the ITT office within 3 days of departure in order to obtain the correct departure time and location. It is also essential to provide a current phone number where you can be contacted in the event of any time or departure location changes. It is not the responsibility of the ITT office if messages left at your office are not given to you; or if the contact number that you provide is incorrect and we are unsuccessful in contacting you because of this.

The ITT Office, 48th Support Squadron, and USAFE act only as agents for various contractors and are in no way responsible or liable for their obligations, accidents, delays, or losses. Display of information and booking arrangements are provided as a service and therefore do not imply endorsement of any commercial business or product.

PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. You are free to cancel at any time outside of 14 days prior to departure on specific trips. A cancellation within 14 days of travel, without the transfer supplement offered by the ITT office, will result in A LOSS OF ALL MONIES PAID, AND ANY BALANCE REMAINING WILL STILL NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING EMERGENCY DUTY REQUIREMENTS OR ANY THREATS AND/OR TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS THAT MAY BE ISSUED AT/OR AROUND TIME OF TRAVEL. Full refunds are only given if the contractor cancels the tour. Transfer Supplement must be purchased outside of 14 days prior to travel or at time of booking.

Some countries require a VISA if you are traveling on a no-fee passport, some countries do not allow you to travel for leave on a no fee passport. Please check the Foreign Clearance Guide at the link below to see what you are eligible to do. All military personnel are required to check with their orderly room before going on leave outside of the UK. COACH TRAVEL PROCEDURES: Coaches will be thoroughly disinfected before and after every journey. Hand sanitizer will be available on the coach. Please bring along your own hand sanitizer or personal cleansing products for use in & outside the coach where necessary. Face Masks/Covering must be worn at all times will on the coach. Hands must be disinfected before reporting to an assigned seat. No snacks, food or drinks are permitted to be consumed on the coach. Toilets on board will remain closed. Must stay in assigned seat (seat assignments will be arranged by ITT prior to the trip departing). When boarding the coach customers must seat themselves from the back of the coach first, working their way forward. When exiting the coach, customers let the driver off first and off load from front to back.
