Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is recognized globally as one of the world’s biggest New Year celebrations. Thousands of people descend upon the streets for a massive party featuring spectacular live music, giant screens, street performers, and delicious street food and drink. Finish the evening watching the famous New Year fireworks with Edinburgh Castle as the ultimate backdrop (weather permitting).

Itinerary

We depart early morning and travel northwards to Bonny Scotland. On arrival, we drop you in the city centre where you have time to explore the many sites and historic monuments of the city. You may wish to take this opportunity to visit the famous Edinburgh Castle or enjoy some of Edinburgh’s shops and pubs. Perhaps you’d like to visit Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh for those sort after souvenirs before the streets come alive as the Hogmanay celebrations begin.

Celebrating its 30^th Anniversary this year, the world-famous Hogmanay Street Party returns to the historic city centre, to light up the skies once again, at one of the world’s great New Year celebrations.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, 40,000 revellers from around the globe will party their way into 2024 with a feast of entertainment including live soundtracks, giant screens, street performers, funfair attractions and much more!

The pyrotechnic wizards, Titanium, will light up the sky with one of the world’s best New Year Firework displays, designed for the stunning setting of Edinburgh Castle for an unforgettable firework and light spectacular (weather permitting).

It’s not just the Streeet Party though… With concerts and events all over the city, check out the full schedule at www.edinburghshogmanay.org and get your tickets for your chosen events as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

We see in the New Year and then in the early hours of the morning, we meet back on the coach for our journey home, arriving mid-late morning.

2	I understand that it is my responsibility to be at the departure point at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. The ITT Office is not responsible for persons missing coach departures at any point during the tour, for any reason whatsoever. There are NO REFUNDS for failing to be on time for the coach departure or for not being at the correct meeting point at the correct time. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the ITT office within 3 days of departure in order to obtain the correct departure time and location. It is also essential to provide a current phone number where you can be contacted in the event of any time or departure location changes. 4	PURCHASING TRAVEL INSURANCE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. You are free to cancel at any time outside of 14 days prior to departure on specific trips. A cancellation within 14 days of travel, without the transfer supplement offered by the ITT office, will result in A LOSS OF ALL MONIES PAID, AND ANY BALANCE REMAINING WILL STILL NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL.
