Itinerary

Day One

We depart late Tuesday night/in the early hours of Wednesday morning and travel south for our crossing to the continent. We drive through the beautiful Swiss scenery and Alpine region of central Switzerland before arriving at our hotel in Emmetten.

Day Two

After breakfast, it’s time for our included excursion to Lucerne, where a visit to the Lion Monument is a must. This massive monument is carved into the rock face and is next to the Glacier Gardens. After a wonderful day in Lucerne, we return to the hotel for dinner.

Day Three

Following breakfast, you can join us on a full day’s optional excursion to Engleberg (extra cost) where we take a ride on the ROTAIR. This 360° revolving gondola takes you up Mount Titlis so you can see Switzerland’s only glacier. Alternatively, enjoy the beautiful, picturesque village. We regroup at the hotel for dinner.

Day Four

After breakfast, you may wish to join us on another optional full day excursion (extra cost) where we enjoy a boat trip across Lake Lucerne with commentary before taking the rack railway up Mount Rigi where Pontinus Pilate’s soul was said to have been exiled. After a fun filled day, we head back to the hotel.

Day Five

We depart our hotel after an early breakfast and make our way to Calais for our crossing back to the UK. We continue our journey, arriving to our pick-up points at night-time after a wonderful time in Switzerland.

It is the customer's responsibility to contact the ITT office within 3 days of departure in order to obtain the correct departure time and location. It is also essential to provide a current phone number where you can be contacted in the event of any time or departure location changes.
