Keukenhof is the most beautiful spring garden in the world! More than 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths fill over 32 hectares with colour and fragrance. An unforgettable experience, combined with the Netherlands capital, Amsterdam which boasts over 160 marvelous canals lined with beautiful buildings, crossed by 1300 humpback bridges. A city full of culture, from Anne Frank’s House to the Van Gogh Museum, there’s plenty to see and do. In the evening, the city comes alive with its bustling nightlife. Enjoy one of the many bars and clubs or take a stroll through the famous Red Light District.

Itinerary

Day One
We depart early morning and travel south for our crossing to the continent. We continue to the Amsterdam area, arriving at our hotel mid/late afternoon. This evening is free for you to relax in the hotel or explore the local area.

Day Two
After breakfast, you can explore Amsterdam, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. This afternoon, you can choose to either have free time in Amsterdam or join our optional excursion to Volendam (extra cost). On the way to Volendam, we visit a clogmakers and cheese farm where the locals still wear traditional dress. This evening enjoy free time at your leisure.

Day Three
After breakfast, we travel to Keukenhof Gardens where you have plenty of time to admire the colourful displays, tranquil lakes and parkland. You won’t find such an abundance of colours and fragrances anywhere else, with more than seven million flowers forming a glorious décor for the most beautiful photos. Keukenhof is the best day out among the flowers, with more than 7 million bulbs in bloom and 800 varieties of tulips! A unique and unforgettable experience! Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique artwork and wonderful events. Keukenhof is also one big party for children. They will have a blast with the treasure hunt, petting farm, maze and the playground (for more information visit the official Keukenhof website).

Day Four
Following breakfast, we depart the hotel and head towards the delightful, picturesque town of Delft. We stop at a Delft pottery, where we learn the secrets of pottery production with the chance to view or purchase exquisite handmade pieces at bargain prices. We return home late evening with fantastic memories of Amsterdam.
